HyperFrames GitHub: render HTML to video on your machine
HyperFrames is an open-source project at github.com/heygen-com/hyperframes. Its README describes a renderer that turns HTML, CSS and seekable animation into an MP4, using headless Chrome and FFmpeg. It is not an AI video model, and it is not HeyGen's hosted avatar product. Nano AI does not install it for you.
The generator below runs Veo 3.1 Fast for 60 credits a clip. That is a generated video, not a HyperFrames render. To use HyperFrames, follow the install steps and run it on your own computer.

What the HyperFrames GitHub repo is
The repository README says a composition is an HTML file with timing data attributes. Animation can come from GSAP, CSS, Lottie, Three.js, Anime.js, WAAPI, or a frame adapter you write. Preview runs in the browser. Render seeks each frame in headless Chrome and encodes with FFmpeg, so the same input is meant to produce the same frames. The README lists the license as Apache-2.0 and says there is no per-render fee in the open project.
The same page says the CLI needs Node.js 22 or newer and FFmpeg. The commands it shows are npx hyperframes init, npx hyperframes preview, and npx hyperframes render. Packages named there include hyperframes, @hyperframes/core, @hyperframes/engine, @hyperframes/producer, @hyperframes/studio and @hyperframes/player. The engine package README says capture goes through Puppeteer and Chrome's beginFrame API. Those are statements from the repo as read on October 31, 2026. This site has not re-run the renderer.
If you wanted a generated clip instead of an HTML render, the form on this page calls Veo 3.1 Fast for 60 credits. That request does not execute HyperFrames, does not read an index.html, and does not produce a deterministic frame sequence from your markup.

Install HyperFrames from the README
Commands are copied from the project README as read on October 31, 2026. Run them on your computer. Nano AI does not run them.
- 1
Check Node.js and FFmpeg
The README requires Node.js 22 or newer and FFmpeg on the PATH.
node -v ffmpeg -version - 2
Scaffold a project
The README's starting command. my-video is the folder name from their example.
npx hyperframes init my-video - 3
Preview in the browser
From inside the project directory.
npx hyperframes preview - 4
Render an MP4
The README shows render writing a local file. The -o form is the CLI readme's output flag.
npx hyperframes render -o output.mp4
Packages the README names

Markup you can diff
HyperFrames is for a video whose frames come from HTML you can commit. A prompt will not become that project.
You operate Chrome and FFmpeg
The README's local path runs on your machine or in CI. Nano AI does not open a HyperFrames render queue.
The form is a different product
Veo 3.1 Fast invents a clip from a sentence. It costs 60 credits. It is not a substitute renderer for an index.html.
Read the license in the repo
The README says Apache-2.0. The license file in the repository is the text that applies, not this summary.
HyperFrames and the generator on this page
The HyperFrames column follows the GitHub README as read on October 31, 2026. The Veo column is what Nano AI runs.
| HyperFrames | Veo 3.1 Fast on Nano AI | |
|---|---|---|
| Input | HTML, CSS, media, seekable animation | A text prompt |
| Output | MP4 from captured frames | One generated clip |
| Where it runs | Your Node process | This website |
| Deterministic | Same input, same frames, per the README | A new sample each time |
| Price here | Not sold on Nano AI | 60 credits |
How to make a generated clip instead
- 1
Use this only if you want a generated clip
Stay on Veo 3.1 Fast. The price is 60 credits. This does not compile a HyperFrames project.
- 2
Describe one shot
Pick a prompt below or edit it. Keep it to a place, a light and a camera move.
- 3
Generate
Sign in. Eligible new accounts receive 64 credits, which covers one Veo 3.1 Fast clip. Download the file from your creations.
Prompts for the Veo clip only
These do not render HTML. For HyperFrames, use the install steps and your own composition.
Desk lamp
A wooden desk at night, one warm lamp, a closed sketchbook, the camera pushes in slowly, quiet room tone, no people, no readable text, no logos.
Greenhouse
Inside a small greenhouse after rain, droplets on glass, ferns, soft green light, the camera pans left, no people, no readable text.
Ferry wake
The wake of a small ferry on grey water, overcast sky, the camera looks back from the stern, no people visible, no readable text, no logos.
Clock gears
Macro shot of brass clock gears turning slowly, warm side light, shallow depth of field, no people, no readable numbers, no logos.
When the CLI will not start
- Node is older than 22
- The README and the engine package both say Node.js 22 or newer. Upgrade Node, then run npx again.
- ffmpeg is not on the PATH
- Render encodes with FFmpeg. Install it and confirm ffmpeg -version works in the same shell.
- You expected a prompt box
- HyperFrames does not invent a shot from a sentence. The Veo form on this page does, and it is a different product at 60 credits.
FAQ
HyperFrames GitHub FAQ
Answers from the repository README, and a separate note about the generator on this page.
Is HyperFrames an AI video model?
No. The README describes a renderer: HTML in, frames captured in Chrome, MP4 out through FFmpeg. It does not take a prompt and invent footage.
Where is the GitHub repository?
https://github.com/heygen-com/hyperframes. The organization name is heygen-com. That does not make Nano AI a HeyGen product.
What do I need to install?
The README asks for Node.js 22 or newer and FFmpeg, then npx hyperframes init, preview and render. This page has not executed those commands for you.
What license is it under?
The README says Apache-2.0. Read the LICENSE file in the repository before you ship a product on top of it.
Can I render a HyperFrames project on Nano AI?
No. The form runs Veo 3.1 Fast for 60 credits and returns a generated clip. It does not accept an HTML composition.
Is Nano AI affiliated with HeyGen?
No. Nano AI is not affiliated with HeyGen or HyperFrames. The repository is linked so you can read it. The generator is Veo 3.1 Fast.
