Seedance 2.5: what ByteDance shipped, and what runs here
ByteDance's Seed team announced Seedance 2.5 on July 31, 2026: longer single-pass clips, more reference files, and tighter edits, on top of the Seedance 2.0 audio-video design. The generator on this page does not run Seedance 2.5.
This generator runs Seedance 2, not Seedance 2.5. A 5-second clip is 150 credits, 10 seconds is 300, and 15 seconds is 450. Output here is 720p without audio. The 64 sign-up credits are not enough for one clip.

What Seedance 2.5 adds, according to ByteDance
The Seed team post dated July 31, 2026 says Seedance 2.5 can generate a 30-second audio-video clip in one pass and extend it across further rounds. It says a single request can take up to 30 images, 10 video clips and 10 audio clips as references, and that editing can target a timestamp. The same post says the model was rolling out on Jimeng and Doubao, with API access described as coming through BytePlus ModelArk. The project page is seed.bytedance.com/en/seedance2_5.
BytePlus ModelArk's Seedance 2.5 tutorial, updated October 28, 2026, lists the model ID dreamina-seedance-2-5-260628. That page's comparison table says Seedance 2.5 outputs 480p, 720p or 1080p, lasts 4 to 30 seconds, can return mp4 or mov, and adds a draft mode that the 2.0 rows in the same table do not have. It also says 2.5 accepts audio as a reference on its own, while the 2.0 rows require an image or a video alongside audio. Those are BytePlus's figures for their API. They are not the settings of the generator on this page.
Nano AI sells Seedance 2 and Seedance 2 Fast. On this site Seedance 2 is priced as 720p without audio: 150 credits for 5 seconds, 300 for 10, and 450 for 15. There is no 30-second option, no 1080p Seedance 2.5 option, no draft mode, and no switch that turns this form into Seedance 2.5. If a control is not in the form, the request is refused rather than priced as a default.
