Meshy Image to 3D is their mesh tool, and this page does not run it

Meshy's image-to-3D page, read on 2026-11-07, says Meshy 7.1 turns a PNG, JPG, or WebP into a textured model. Their API can also start from a text-to-image task. This site does not make that mesh.

A still, then their tool if you want a mesh

Nano Banana 2.1 makes a picture, not a Meshy file

Nano AI does not provide a Meshy account and does not return GLB, OBJ, FBX, STL, USDZ, 3MF, BLEND, or DXF. Nano Banana 2.1 costs 8 credits for one 1K image, with up to 5 reference images. Eligible new accounts receive 64 credits, enough for 8 of those images. The picture is not a 3D model.

Meshy Image to 3D, including text to image to 3D

The search meshy t2 image to 3d lines up with two Meshy flows that were public on 2026-11-07. One is Image to 3D: a photo becomes a textured mesh. The other is text to image to 3D: a Meshy text-to-image task id is sent as input_task_id to the image-to-3D API. Text to 3D is a third flow, preview then refine, and does not need your photo. This page describes those flows. It does not run them.

The API also constrains the image: JPG, JPEG, PNG, or WebP, at most 20 MB, at least 32 pixels on each side, and at most 178,956,970 pixels. The feature page's 20 MB line matches. Its multi-view line says up to 4 photos. The API page that was open is a single image_url plus an optional task id, and it points several photos at Multi-Image to 3D. Both sentences are left as written. PBR maps named on the feature page are diffuse, roughness, metallic, and normal. It also says raw meshes can reach 80 million triangles before simplification, and that Meshy 7 Texture can go up to 8K base color. This site has not measured any of those figures.

What you can make here is a still or a short video. The button opens Nano Banana 2.1 at 8 credits and 1K. A separate video page can open Kling 2.6 for a 5-second clip at 55 credits with sound off. Neither file is a substitute for a Meshy export. The gallery below is Meshy's own card and Meshy's own quickstart photo, so you can see the kind of picture they show. It is not a model file and not a render this site generated.

What Meshy's own pages say

Copied from meshy.ai/features/image-to-3d, the image-to-3D API, and the API quickstart as read on 2026-11-07. This site has not called the API.

  1. 1

Image to 3D starts from a picture

The feature page says you upload a PNG, JPG, or WebP up to 20 MB, optionally remove the background, and can add up to 4 views. It names Meshy 7.1 and resolutions Standard, Ultra 2K, and Ultra 4K. It says Standard returns a textured model in about a minute. Ultra modes are described as paid, and Ultra 4K as 4096 cubed geometry from a single image.

  2. 2

Text to image to 3D is their pipeline, not this button

The API says image_url is required unless you send input_task_id. If you send both, it uses input_task_id. That id can be the output of a Meshy text-to-image or image-to-image task. The quickstart says a text prompt or several photos should use Text to 3D or Multi-Image to 3D instead. Text to 3D is two calls: preview for an untextured mesh, then refine for texture. This site does not create those task ids.

  3. 3

Formats and time limits are theirs

The API lists target formats glb, obj, fbx, stl, usdz, and 3mf. The feature page also names BLEND and DXF. The quickstart says a task usually takes a few minutes, which is not the same sentence as about a minute on the feature page. It also says files on every plan except Enterprise are kept for 3 days. This page does not host those files.

  4. 4

Free credits on Meshy are not these 64

The feature-page FAQ says the free tier includes 100 credits every month, about five Image to 3D generations at 20 credits each, with no card, and that free-tier models are CC BY 4.0. Paid plans are described as offering a private license. Those credits are Meshy's. Nano AI's 64 credits buy Nano Banana 2.1 stills, not Meshy generations.

What this page will not pretend

01

No GLB, OBJ, or STL

Those names are Meshy export formats. The button on this page opens an image generator. The file is a picture.

02

No Meshy account and no task id

input_task_id is how their API chains text to image into image to 3D. This site does not create a Meshy task and does not store a Meshy login.

03

Their minute and their few minutes both stay

The feature page says about a minute at Standard. The quickstart says a few minutes. This page does not average them.

04

64 credits are not 100 Meshy credits

Nano AI gives eligible new accounts 64 credits, which is 8 images on Nano Banana 2.1 at 8 credits. Meshy's FAQ says 100 of their credits a month. The units are not interchangeable.

Meshy Image to 3D and this site

Meshy columns follow pages read on 2026-11-07. The last column is Nano AI. Nothing in the last column is a mesh.

How to use the still, then decide

  1. 1

Open Nano Banana 2.1 for a concept still

The button leaves this page for the image generator with Nano Banana 2.1 selected. 8 credits, 1K, up to 5 reference images. The result is a picture you could later upload somewhere else.

  2. 2

Do not treat that picture as a download

There is no GLB, OBJ, or STL button here. Meshy's formats stay on Meshy's account, under their retention rule of 3 days except Enterprise.

  3. 3

Use video only if you want a clip

Kling 2.6 on the video generator is 55 credits for 5 seconds, with sound off. It is a clip, not a rig, not a print, and not a Meshy model.

Prompts for a still, not a mesh

Written for Nano Banana 2.1. They do not ask for a GLB, a polycount, or a Meshy task.

  • Lantern

A brass lantern on a wooden table, one candle unlit, dark background, no people, no text, no logos.

  • Clay pot

A round unglazed clay pot with a fitted lid, studio grey backdrop, no people, no text, no logos.

  • Stone axe

A stone axe head lashed to a short wooden handle, lying on linen, soft side light, no people, no text, no logos.

  • Wooden tankard

An empty wooden tankard with a metal rim, three-quarter view, plain background, no people, no text, no logos.

Why this page will not hand you a mesh

These are limits of this site, not error strings from Meshy.

There is no download for GLB or OBJ
The button opens the image generator. The file it can make is a picture. It is not a mesh, a texture set, or a print file.
A reference image is not sent to Meshy
Nano Banana 2.1 can take up to 5 reference images for a new 1K still. Those uploads stay on this site's image path. They do not become an input_task_id.
A video is still not a model
Kling 2.6 on the video generator is a 5-second clip at 55 credits with sound off. It does not export GLB, OBJ, or STL.

FAQ

Meshy Image to 3D questions

Short answers from the pages read on 2026-11-07, and from this site's credit table.

Will this page download a GLB or OBJ?

No. Meshy's API can return those formats. This site does not call that API and does not attach a mesh to the page.

What does meshy t2 image to 3d mean here?

It is read as Meshy's text-to-image-to-3D path: create a Meshy image task, then send its id as input_task_id. Image to 3D from a photo is the other path. This page explains both and runs neither.

Is the free 100 credits the same as 64?

No. Meshy's FAQ says 100 of their credits a month, about five image-to-3D runs at 20 credits, licensed CC BY 4.0 on the free tier. Nano AI's 64 credits are for models this site sells, such as 8 images on Nano Banana 2.1.

Why are there two time estimates?

The feature page says about a minute at Standard. The quickstart says the task usually takes a few minutes. Both lines are from 2026-11-07. This site has not timed a Meshy job.

Can the video generator replace a mesh?

No. Kling 2.6 makes a 5-second clip for 55 credits with sound off. It does not export GLB, OBJ, FBX, STL, or USDZ.

Is Nano AI affiliated with Meshy?

No. Account features, Ultra resolutions, and export buttons belong to Meshy. The only generator this page links to is Nano Banana 2.1, plus the separate video generator.
